Summary: A one-day academic meetup of researchers working on diverse aspects of judgments and choice spanning different disciplines and approaches. It was a knowledge and collaboration meetup for researchers working on judgment and decision making that was attended by presenters and few attendees. Some talks and presentations were online, time-synched to IST.

He has played an instrumental role in setting up the Society for Judgment and Decision Making (SJDM) and also started the flagship journal, Judgment and Decision Making, serving as its founding editor for years.

Scope: The focus was on understanding the cognitive, neural, social, and economic aspects of judgment and decision making. It welcomed different disciplinary perspectives, theories, and methods from cognitive and social psychology, neuroscience, anthropology, ecology and ethology, philosophy, behavioral economics or behavioral finance, consumer research, organizational decision making, policy decisions, (big) data analytics, computer science, and other related fields. Researchers working on non-human species and artificial agents were also encouraged to apply. Talks were given by faculty members, UG/PG students, PhD candidates, and poster sessions. One of the talk- sessions was in fully hybrid mode to enable those who cannot travel to the venue, including foreign participants.
A workshop (free) on presenting and communicating research was held during the 1st week of Dec [compulsory for student presenters including doctoral candidates who presented in-person or online] by Prof. David J. Parkinson, University of Saskatchewan, Canada. This was an additional resource training for selected participants.
