Prof. Gonzales focuses on the study of human decision making in dynamic and complex environments. She is a lifetime fellow of the Cognitive Science Society and of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. She is also a member of the Governing Board of the Cognitive Science Society. She is a Senior Editor for Topics in Cognitive Science, a Consulting Editor for Decision, and Associate Editor for the System Dynamics Review. She is also a member of editorial boards in multiple other journals, including Cognitive Science, Psychological Review, Perspectives on Psychological Science, and others.

Ido Erev

Keynote Speaker (online)

Professor of Behavioral Science, Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences at Technion–Israel Institute of Technology.

Prof. Ido Erev (https://www.idoerev.com/) is a chair professor of Data and Decision Science at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. Starting August 2025, he will serve as a professor of Psychology and Economics at Ohio State University. He served as vice dean in charge of the MBA program, and the president of the European Association for Decision Making. His research clarifies the conditions under which wise incentive systems can solve behavioral and social problems. Among the contributions of this research is the discovery of a robust description-experience-gap: People exhibit oversensitivity to rare events when they decide based on a description of the incentive structure, but experience reverses this bias and leads to underweighting of rare events.

Bapi Raju

Plenary Speaker (online)

Professor at International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad

Prof. Bapi Raju is a distinguished professor at the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad. His research interests primarily focus on cognitive neuroscience, cognitive modeling, and artificial intelligence. Prof. Bapi Raju has made significant contributions in the areas of motor learning, cognitive control, and decision-making, using interdisciplinary approaches that combine experimental research with computational modeling. At IIIT Hyderabad, he leads initiatives in cognitive science and serves as a guiding force for fostering interdisciplinary research in neuroscience, psychology, and computational sciences.
